Forty to fifty turn-of-the-century wooden structures, housing hotels, saloons and shops in the area along Broadway from First to Seventh Avenues were renovated to stir up nostalgia back on the days of the Gold Rush. An 1898 building was restored and now serves as the park’s service visitor center and start off point for walking tours that are conducted by park rangers.
Some of the most famous attractions in Skagway that you surely do not want to miss are the Skagway Museum & Archives, Gold Rush Cemetery, Lower Reid Falls, Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, White Pass & Yukon Route Railway.
